It would nice to know why you have stage 3 kidney disease this early at age 27. If you do not have a nephrologist, I would suggest that you get to know one to preserve your kidney function. As a certified internist and emergency physician, I most of the time offer to see my patients myself (or my ER colleagues).

Yes. You either go back to the ER or you call your primary care physician, or you call your specialist. Left sided pain is more associated with a pleurisy, a pulmonary issue or something with your pleura. Meaning that the two protective layer is between the fluid layer can be irritated agitated and causing disruption and or pain, discomfort, fill in the blank. Your best bet is to get a chest x-ray, MRI/A or CT with an angiogram. Do you want to make sure there’s no embolism, and I can tell you all the rest of the architecture. So, yes. In my opinion, I believe you should go to the ER. Especially given that you have the medical condition that you do. Best of luck, and I hope you get relief soon!
