“I don’t know what to do?”
I am a 17 year old female. My mom is not around I want to get STD tested she keeps missing all my appointments. I have been having discharge and lower stomach pain. I don’t know what to do I’m 17 I don’t have an ID how can I or where can I go by myself for an appointment.

In regards to sexual health, a parent is not required to be present. If you are concerned about going to your regular doctor, I would go to Planned Parenthood. Hope this was helpful!
Go to a planned parenthood center near you. You do not need an adult with you.
It is very, very important that you do this. I am proud of you for being responsible to take care of yourself, even when your mom seems unable to support you. I don't know where you live, but most likely there is a health department that can help you.
Health departments will do this. You may not need your mother present since you are being tested for std. Call your local county health department and ask. Then make an appointment.
You need to go urgently to either your doctor or an Urgent care but because your age you need an adult to be with you, your mother can provide a letter authorizing another person of your family to take you there.
