I have a question about my blood pressure?

I have been taking medication for 20 years for high blood pressure. I took my blood pressure on April 2nd and it was 92 over 61 so I stopped using my daily pill and my blood pressure has averaged 21 over 70 but I have a headache and am tired. I am 78 years old.

Always consult your doctor before you stop your medication! He will check you and either decrease or adjust the dose if needed or stop it. The medication stays in the system for days after discontinuation and sometimes gives a false impression of the blood pressure being normal even when you are not taking the medication. I would recommend seeing your doctor and discussing if you need the dose adjusted vs discontinued!
