“Why do I have a sharp pain in my gums?”
I've been experiencing pain in my gums for the past couple of days, and the pain has been rather sharp. What could be the reason for this? There is no bleeding in my gums, as well.

Without a clinical exam is difficult to diagnose the origin of your pain, it can be from an allergic reaction to toothpaste to pain due to food accumulation in certain areas of the mouth or related to infection. It is advised that you visit your dentist for a full exam. [cid:image001.png@01DA8754.BAB074E0]
Painful gums is not associated with bleeding gums typically. Painful gums could be related to clinch and grind your teeth or diseases of the gum that are pathologic. It is best to seek out a dentist for an evaluation to determine the exact cause.
