I have a small ridge in the middle of my forehead?

Recently (2-3), I have been noticing a lot more recent discomfort in the middle of my forehead. I would occasionally get the discomfort every now and then, however, it would disappear after a few hours. But, it's been occurring a lot more often these past few days. After attempting a self-diagnosis, I found a very small, vertical ridge in the middle of my forehead. It's been worrying me since the discomfort hasn't gone away after 3 full days of rest while taking pain relievers (Tylenol). I just wanted to consult with a doctor first to see if it's self-treatable without having to schedule a doctor's appointment.

No headaches are not normal, make an appointment to see your physician.
It is likely that your discomfort is caused by a lipoma, but any outgrowth from a bone should be checked by a doctor. It could be malignant, and this should be ruled out.
