I have a swollen painful left foot?

What should we do? Within the last 12 hours, my husband's left foot has become severely swollen and painful some bruising on the inside of his foot says don't know how it happened. There's no cuts or wounds, no injury that I know of recently.

I recommend go to the nearest ER or urgent care asap.
It's best to be evaluated by a specialist
Go to the nearest urgent care for evaluation and Xray
Does he have gout?

Thanks for considering this question, but it is not possible for me or any other physician to answer this question. It needs to be checked with his primary care doctor or urgent care. Get X-rays and then the appropriate treatment could follow.

Thank you,

I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon or your primary care physician for evaluation
This can be several different issues. It can be something like the gout, to a case of tendonitis. I would recommend that he see a podiatrist for further evaluation.
You should seek immediate medical attention. Infection can occur without a laceration or open wound. He may have gout. There may be a circulation issue. You probably should go sooner than later
You should go to emergency room.
