“I hear my heart beat loudly in my ear?”
I have had a fast heartbeat for the last 2 months. I can hear my heart pounding. It's my left ear only and usually at night when going to bed. Should I tell my doctor about this?

Yes you should. You may be having blood pressure spikes. The fast rates may be A-Fib. During the evening hours may be due sleep apnea. An echo, holter and sleep study should be done. Labs and blood pressure monitoring
Albuteral can cause a fast heart beat. You can hear your heart beat in your ear when you are in bed especially if you are lying on that ear and especially on your left side since that is where your heart is. Yes you should discuss the fast heart beat with your doctor. Having a perisistently fast heart beat is not good over time.
