Gastroenterologist Questions surgeon

I'm feeling weak and sick post gall bladder removal?

I had my gall bladder removed 6 months ago. How can nausea and lack of appetite be treated? Taking any medication in tablet form, or food, frequently causes vomiting I collapsed 6 times since my gall bladder was removed, no resolution at the hospital. I am so weak and I can scarcely walk.

I'm sorry to hear that you feeling so ill. I am concerned that you are weak and cannot walk. I would recommend immediate medical evaluation and labs.
Consult Functional Medicine. Start Acupuncture with Moxibustion. Consult Cardiology and Endocrinology.
The cause of the vomiting needs to be found. It might be related to your underlying diabetes, especially if it is not well controlled. There may be a stomach problem causing the vomiting. Nausea can be due to many different organ system dysfunctions. If the surgeon who took out the gallbladder cannot help, then see a PCP or GI doctor to get a full evaluation to try to diagnose the problem.
This symptoms are not typical 6 months after cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal). You should return to see your surgeon as well as discuss with your primary care doctor. Evaluation should include labs, imaging such as a CT scan or swallow study, and possibly an endoscopy.
