Orthopaedic Surgeon Questions

I’ve had a separated ac joint grade 1 for 7 months

The shoulder clicks any time I move it. Will this ever go away?
I’ve recovered most of my range of motion and pain has subsided about 90%
But whenever I try going back to my old workout schedule I’m not able to do shoulder workouts or chest workouts a lot of pressure comes in at my affected shoulder, and little but some pain. What should I do and how much longer is this going to last.

I would get an MRI just to be sure.
Try a cortisone injection
When you hit one year, it's as good as it gets. With that said, you need and mri to check soft tissue status. You will probably need an arthroscopic of the shoulder to directly see the rotator cuff and the ac joint. If you had enough energy from injury to tear the ac ligament you may have torn other parts. I had similar and had the arthroscopic eval and decompression. It was interfering too much with my quality of life. Where are you located? Sent from Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
