I was diagnosed with JME on 2012

I"m currently on the highest dose of 3,000 mg of Kepra and it's no longer effective as I've been having petite mals for a time span of nearly 5 days in a row my provider doesn't believe changing my meds is the most conducive approach could it be a tumor

I don't think you have a tumor. It seems that the Keppra is not controlling your seizures. You might want to discuss with your provider trying a different medication. Valproic acid  ( Depakote) usually works quite well; provided you don't have a specific contraindication.  There are also other medications that can be considered. On the more holistic side CBD oil or its pharmaceutical equivalent ( Epidiolex) might be quite helpful. If your provider is not willing to discuss and or consider such; Then a new provider might be an option. Good luck. Dr. F. Sent from AOL on Android
In the condition of juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, I typically will use a medication called depakote as a first choice. Not sure if this has been tried but I would discuss this with your provider. Austin Oblack austin.oblack@gmail.com
