“Implantation bleeding? Pregnancy?”
Was having sex with my partner 3 days ago, started to bleed but only for a few minutes. put in a tampon because i thought it was a period, took it out a few hours later and found no blood. put in another just in case, took it out and found only a small amount of pinkish brown blood. felt nauseous as i was going to sleep this morning.

At Grand Rounds, The doctors and residents would recommend:
1) Blood pregnancy test, abdominal ultrasound, and pelvic ultrasound ( if needed)
2) Gentle, thorough gynecology exam.
3) Your medical history should include the age of Menarche, duration of menstruation, amount of vaginal pads /tampons used each day, and last normal menstrual period.
4) Keeping a Good Record of the monthly period would be part of your routine.
