Is 35 too old for braces?

I am a 35 year old female. I want to know if 35 is too old for braces?

No. 35 years young is fine. We have people who are sixty or seventy years of age that get braces (Orthodontic treatment). If you want to look good, and/ or want to correct an alignment defect, go for it.
There is no age limit as to when someone can have orthodontic treatment. You have to make sure your teeth are healthy and have good bone support by visiting your primary care dentist prior to starting your orthodontic treatment.
Not at all! My oldest patient was an 83-year-old dentist who came to me because his wife couldn’t stand his crooked teeth anymore! Like all physical therapy, a good check-up and medical/dental review is necessary to achieve success. Your best way to find out if you could benefit is to find a Board Certified Orthodontist in your area. Use the orthodontist locator on Americanboardortho.com
Enjoy your beautiful smile!

35 years old is in no way too old for braces. The oldest patients that I have treated have been ninety years old. Bone is always being formed. Treatment may take slightly longer. However, age is not a factor. Only the health of the teeth and gums are important for tooth movement.
You are never too old for braces. As long as you have healthy teeth and gums, you are a candidate. If you do have periodontal (gum and bone) issues, you may need treatment and/or clearance first by a periodontist. To give you perspective, my oldest orthodontic patient was 76 years old. Schedule an exam with an orthodontist to see what your treatment may entail.

Best of luck,

35 is definitely not too old for braces. We treat many adults with braces. It is not too late to achieve that smile you have always dreamed of.
I have had some patients who were 80 years old and they did great. You may want to consider Invisalign as an alternative to braces: https://invisalign.com/
So, you're not too old. My 80-year-old patient told me when we finished his braces: "I should have done this 50 years ago, but I'm so glad I did it now."
