Is 5 days of antibiotics enough for tooth infection?

I am a 31 year old male. I want to know if 5 days of antibiotics are enough for tooth infection?

Most of the time, 5-7 days are good enough for mild to moderate oral infections caused by bacteria.
7-10 days is the ideal time to treat dental infection with antibiotics.
The general consensus is that in order to avoid bacterial resistance seven days is considered the normal low end although often ten days is recommended depending on the type and severity of the infection
Hello,

This is Dr. Zoe Collier. I generally write antibiotic prescriptions for a minimum of 10 days.
