Is Zofran safe to take after expiration?

I have Zofran pills 8mg that expired in 2020. They're tablets you swallow with water, not the dissolving kind. Are they still safe to use for nausea? Is it dangerous?

Do not take this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering. If it has expired or is damaged, return it to your pharmacist for disposal. If you are not sure whether you should start taking this medicine, talk to your doctor.

Most medication would be considered safe in most cases six months after expiration date. However, some of them put you at risk, if it is used beyond expiration date. If the medication that old, might be exposed to humidity and alteration in its effect.

Hello,

If the pills expired in 2020, they are not safe to use and they should be
thrown away. If possible, please contact your health care provider if you
are experiencing symptoms of nausea and vomiting to get a new prescription.
Any medication that is expired is better not to be used and thrown away and kept away from other current medictions.
