Yes, of course, acupuncture helps ease pain by moving the stuck energy.
Your neck hurts and probably feels stuck.
Moving the qi (energy)will help ease the pain.

Absolutely. But its done in tandem with a complete approach to pain: diet, nutrition, family history, occupation, exercise, sleep, relationships and much more. Feel free to call the office after labor day to discuss your needs. Dr. Jennifer Botwick
Generally acupuncture excels at treating any kind of pain, both chronic and acute. A licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) has many tools in their tool bag to help with pain including but not limited to: acupuncture, electro acupuncture, heat (in the form of moxibustion or heat lamp, etc.), sometimes Chinese herbal formulas, and much more. Many patients have had very good results with numerous kinds of health care conditions involving pain and immobility. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), of which acupuncture is a part of, is a vast science with many time tested solutions and many varied ways to treat pain and discomfort . As acupuncture is a process and not a single event, I suggest you try a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) for 3 to 6 sessions for 2-3 weeks in succession to see if acupuncture might work for you. Acupuncture has helped millions of people with chronic pain over the years. During the Opioid crisis, Medical providers referred patients to acupuncture to reduce pain medication prescriptions.

Yes.
We will exam 1st. Then provide dry needling 1st. Patients will find instant results in general.
Depending on patients’ medical histories and conditions, each patient will have different responses. Patients will have to follow up in 3-7days depending on severity.
Patients will be examined again on how much difference they have experienced since the initial acupuncture treatment.
Then we can give patients a plan for symptomatology.
If we find limitations in improvements, we will apply different plans as a holistic approach.

If your neck pain is chronic, you will need multiple sessions per week for a period of time. Then you can decrease sessions to once a week once it is under control. You need a private consultation to discuss your pain issue.
Yes, acupuncture is very good for chronic pain. It will probably take a series of treatments, but stick with it. You'll be happy you did.
Absolutely, acupuncture therapy has a considerable effect, has a high technical content, can trigger nerve reactions, activate and relax the patient's muscle cramp and pain and finally achieve pain reduction. A common treatment plan for a single complaint would typically involve one or two treatments a week. The number of treatments will depend on the condition being treated and its severity. In general, it's common to receive six to eight treatments.
