“Is chest pain normal after stent placement?”
I am a 46 year old female. I want to know if chest pain is normal after stent placement?

No. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI. I am assuming you mean an arterial stent in the artery or arteries supplying the heart with blood.) should not cause chest pain. However, if a person still had blockages in other heart arteries or if the stent had clotted (thombosed) right after the stent implant or some time after the implant, chest pain (angina) might occur.
