Yes, in general Chiropractic care works well for helping chronic Neck Pain. First, the Chiropractor will need to perform a through examination which may include X-rays of your Neck to determine the cause of your Neck Pain. Then, if it is determined that Chiropractic care can help, the Chiropractor will perform different therapies on your Neck including a gentle Chiropractic Adjustment. Chiropractic is a safe effective treatment for Neck Pain.
Yes! It will really help you. We see great results with a lot of patients with this same problem.
Good morning. An issue that lasts more than 3 months is definitely chronic vs acute, so you're definitely right. There are 7 vertebrae in your neck that allows you to move your head in all directions with the assistance of several neck muscles. If you feel a strain especially when turning your head towards a particular direction, then it can be a pulled muscle due to possibly sleeping wrong or from lifting something too heavy. Our neck muscles attach directly to the vertebrae in our neck... and if that muscle pulls too hard for too long, it then causes the vertebrae to shift out of alignment. Any vertebrae that shift out of place can easily put pressure on the nerve that comes out of it. Any pressure on the nerve leads to excruciating pain... to where sometimes even pain meds can't even touch. Signs of a pinched nerve would be numbness, tingling, and pins/needles especially down the arm and into the hands. So, to answer your question, yes Chiropractic can definitely help.
Yes. Chiropractors have had great success treating chronic neck pain because they look for the cause of the pain. Correct the cause relieve the pain. Most spinal conditions develop over a long period of time and can be linked to bad posture or a long forgotten injury. Remember, pain is the end result of a condition that has progressed and is the first to stop which does not mean the problem is corrected. We have all been condition for years that no pain no problem. WRONG!
That’s an amazing question. Various chiropractic care treatments can help you manage chronic pain caused by a neck pain or back pain condition, such as a herniated disc. My recommendation would be to make an appointment to discuss your pain and options for you.
