Is filtered tap water safe for babies?

My baby is 1 month old. I want to know if filtered tap water is safe for babies?

Babies under 6 months old are considered immunocompromised they don’t have strong immune systems yet. Babies at one month don’t need water, only breast milk or formula. If you are using water to mix powdered or concentrate formula it should be sterile water, if the filtered water is boiled and cooled it can be used for preparing formula. If your water comes from a well, make sure it is tested regularly.
Yes, but only if you are using it to mix formula. Infants should not drink solely water, only formula or breastmilk.
