I have tooth sensitivity. Is fluoride treatment effective for tooth sensitivity?

There are various ways of treating teeth with fluoride. They all typically provide relief from sensitivity. Time to take effect and duration of relief can vary. I generally recommend maintaining the desensitization with prescription strength fluoride toothpaste
It can sometimes help but there are a lot of reasons teeth can become sensitive (recession leading to root exposure, caries (cavities) etc. The source of the sensitivity should be evaluated by a dentist and appropriate treatment steps taken to get to the root cause. Hope that helps. Jon
Yes. Use it regularly.
