Is heart stent surgery risky?

I will have heart stent surgery. Is heart stent surgery risky?

It's not surgery actually as there is no cut. Just a poke hole on your skin of your wrist or groin. Risk is low. You should do fine. Bleeding is one risk.
Any procedure on the heart has some level of risk. However, if a heart stent is deed necessary, leaving the blockage that is current in place, is more risky. Stents, when performed by a quality cardiologist, are quite safe now
