I have a fever. Is it better to stay warm or cold when you have a fever?

It really depends on the infection your body is trying to fight. I would need more info on your symptoms to advise you.
You need to uncover when you have a fever. The blankets keep that heat in. You can cover up with a light blanket or sheet.
When you have a fever, you feel cold due to your body heating up, but it is not wise to cover yourself with multiple clothes or blankets, as you can actually cause your fever to get even higher. It is best to be comfortable, so if you can, just wait the fever out. If it is causing you discomfort, then you can try a tepid bath, or fever reducing medication.
