Is it normal for gums to bleed after a filling?

I had a filling yesterday. Today my gums bleed. Should I see a dentist?

Yup!
Yes and no. So, if the filling was at the gum line or a bit below that, it's normal for a very light bleeding upon flossing or brushing. It should get better with time. If not, have examined again. Maybe it needs to be fine-tuned?
Sometimes gums get injured slightly while doing a filling. I would give it few days to see if it is still a priafter it has had time to heal.
