I broke up with my boyfriend and want to get a psychotherapy. Is it normal to get therapy after a breakup?

That depends on the duration and intensity of the relationship. But if you see some need for therapy, I think therapy would be useful
Yes, many can find psychotherapy useful following a breakup in order to have a space to process their feelings and come to a place of closure and peace with whatever led to the breakup.
