After general anesthesia I have loose stools. Should I see a doctor?

Lots of medications can cause this especially antibiotics. Narcotics on the other hand can cause significant constipation and should be taken with a stool softener. If diarrhea persists or is severe let your surgeon know. And be sure to keep hydrated in both circumstances.
