Is it safe for a child with a history of allergic reactions to get a covid-19 vaccine?

My son is 6 years old. I want to know is it safe for a child with a history of allergic reactions to get a covid-19 vaccine?

Without knowing your son's allergic history I cannot make a definitive recommendation. However, COVID vaccines are generally very safe and people with food or inhalant allergies do not have an increased risk of adverse reactions. I would suggest addressing your concerns with your child's allergist.

Start with working on his allergies first and optimize his health. Vaccine use and long term effects are unknown and safety records are minimal in children.
Hello, thank you for your question. Sadly, this vaccine, although authorized for emergency use, is still experimental and so it’s not yet clear to know if it is safe for a case such as you described. And the very few, short trials performed were on a limited number of adults, not children. None of the adults were recorded as having allergy history in the trial data. However, you can watch this video on the vaccine by Dr Simone Gold for some more information on it to help inform you. https://www.bitchute.com/video/onWqOMszB3Pc/
No... Anaphylaxis is an acute and potentially life-threatening serious allergic reaction. Severe allergic reaction (e.g., anaphylaxis) to any component of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. No vaccine has been approved in children this young. So far, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are for 18 y/o and over and 16 y/o and over.
In the spring/summer of 2021, we will have more information about safety of vaccines in children. Until then, this is non-issue. It would also be helpful to know what kind of allergic reactions your son has had and also if he was ever prescribed any medications.
