“Is it safe for someone with asthma to wear perfume?”
My daughter loves perfumes and has about 20 different kinds but she also has asthma. I worry about this triggering an attack for her. Although it has not yet, should she stay away from perfumes?

Not necessarily unless she has an allergy to any of the perfumes
We don’t know what triggers asthma but you should ask her internal medicine doctor.
Any form of an allergen may trigger an asthma attack. Perfume can be an allergen to some and have no effect for others. You have to go by trial and error. Never do this trial while having an exacerbation and always make sure you have your rescue inhaler as well as an antihistamine like Zyrtec, on hand.
