Dermatologist Questions Skin Cancer

Is it skin cancer

I noticed this patch of skin on my leg a few months ago, it hasn't changed. Doesn't itch or change at all. But is noticeably different from the rest of the skin.

While a patch of skin that hasn't changed over time and doesn't itch or cause discomfort may not be a major concern, it's always a good idea to have any unusual spots evaluated, especially if it looks different from the rest of your skin. Skin cancer can appear in various forms, and early detection is key.

We recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Shafa at IrvineSkin in Irvine, Orange County. Dr. Shafa can assess the spot and determine whether it requires further investigation or treatment.
Good Morning In order to properly diagnose this or any skin leasion you would need to be seen by a physician.

Hello there! For most definitive way to address a skin cancer concern for a growth on the skin even when it appears non cancerous like that, I recommend see a physician/dermatologist that can evaluate, and if needed, biopsy and diagnose this skin condition so appropriate treatment can be given!
