As in any surgical procedure, swelling is normal.
Yes. For 1 week.
Swelling, & occasionally bruising, are not uncommon after implant surgery. Ice off and on for the first 24 to 48 hours can be helpful. After that switch to heat. If the swelling keeps enlarging, call the surgeon.
