Is swimmer's eye contagious?

I was diagnosed with swimmer's eye. Is it serious? Is swimmer's eye contagious?

Swimmer's eye can be serious if your vision is changed. It's not usually contagious. If you're having trouble with your eyes, even after discontinuing your swimming activities, you're going to need to see your primary eye care provider to have it checked.
