“Is there a possibility of infection after a root canal treatment?”
I recently underwent a root canal infection which healed well. Now past 2 days I am feeling pain, swelling and redness around the same part of the tooth which was operated. Could this be the sign of a root canal infection?

Definitely so. Even after a root canal there is a significant risk of infection. You should go back to the person who performed the procedure and you should probably be on an antibiotic. I take out many failing root canal teeth, short & long term.

Yes, but you need to see the dentist who performed the root canal treatment for an exam. Clinical and radiographic exam will help evaluate the tooth and endodontic treatment.
