Is this cat eczema?

My cat has been seeing by my vet who tells me it's cat eczema. My face has become itchy and flaking, which is most unusual for me. I would appreciate any help, please.

Your cat should have been provided a whole skin work up including, a deep and superficial skin scraping to look for skin mites. Which could be transmissible to humans. If those were not ruled out, it may be worth inquiring about.

I can’t guarantee that this is the problem and you should consult with your vet if the problem has no resolved. You should also consult with your human physician if you are having concerns regarding your health.
I would have your cat checked again for possible mites or ringworm, especially if you are rubbing your face on your cat and have developed lesions on your face. Some diseases are zoonotic (can be spread between pets and people). If there are no mites or ringworm on your cat causing your symptoms, then you should go see your family physician or dermatologist.

I would contact your physician or dermatologist to rule out any zoonotic causes of dermatitis. Possible causes include dermatophytosis (ringworm), scabies, and cheyletiellosis.
