I want to remove varicose veins from my legs with ablation. Is varicose vein treatment with ablation permanent?

Abalation of varicose veins uses heat to permanently seal the varicose veins.
That does not stop new ones from appearing however

The veins that are ablated are permanently fixed, but the other veins that may not be showing now may slowly dilate and become visible. The underlying anatomical problem that leads to the veins swelling is not fixed systemically.
