Optometrist Questions

Leg paralysis 2 days after back surgery

Good day Doctor.
How do I know if a person is permanently paralyzed after a spine injury? Before the surgery he had severe back pain which made his left leg paralyzed prior to surgery. He then went for spine surgery. Today is day 2 after the surgery, but he is still experiencing leg numbness even after physiotherapy.
Is it possible for him to be paralysed or will the tingle in his leg come back?

Sir/ Madam, I would gladly, gladly appreciate it if you get the oppertunity to get back to me.

Kindest Regards.

my suggestion is to see a neurologist. Your primary care doc might be able to assist you.
I am an optometrist, an eye doctor. It would be in your interest to consult the surgeon or another medical doctor, like an internist or an orthopedic surgeon in order to receive the best medical information and care. Good luck and best wishes.
Please see a neurologist and get brain scans done.
