Liver nodes?

I had eye cancer in 2006. Since then I have had yearly CT scans of liver and lung and a chest x-ray to make sure it didn't metastasize. In June my CT scan came back with 2 nodes on or in my liver. My general DrS secretary just said to have CT redone in 6 months. shouldn't he have called so I could ask questions and is this the right thing to do? I've also had a mild case of hepatitis which can effect your liver. My liver function bloodwork is ok. Should I change Dr. or see a specialist? I'm concerned but the Dr doesn't seem to be.

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, THERE ARE TOO MANY VARIABLES TO ANSWER SPECIFICALLY. EVERY SITUATION IS DIFFERENT.
Your concerns are valid. If these are new lesions, they should be evaluated further. My advice would be MRI pre- and post-contrast. If your doctor disagrees, I would recommend finding a new doctor.
Thank you and all the best.
