Lump On Palm of Hand

I have had a small lump on the palm of my hand for about a year that has grown. It is right under my pinky on the joint and is sensitive when it gets bumped.

The lump on your palm could be something like a ganglion cyst, which is a common, harmless bump that forms near joints. It’s usually soft and filled with fluid. Sometimes, it can hurt if bumped.

Other possible causes could be:

Lipoma: A fatty lump under the skin that isn’t dangerous.
Fibroma: A growth made of fibrous tissue.
Injury: A past injury could also cause a lump.
Since it’s growing and has been there for a year, it’s best to see a doctor to find out what it is. You can also reach out to IrvineSkin for more help!

Hello there! I recommend see a physician/dermatologist that can evaluate, and if needed, biopsy and diagnose this skin condition eg if it is a wart; so appropriate treatment can be given!

Probably a ganglion cyst, which is benign
