Any lumps or bumps anywhere in the body including the mouth needs to be checked by a dentist, doctor or surgeon immediately to rule out certain pathology. My advise would be to see a doctor ASAP.
I would recommend seeing an Oral Surgeon for a diagnosis.
There are many possibilities The best is to consult an oral pathologist or an oral surgeon.
It is likely not cancer given your age of 18. However, you should come into the office or that of another dentist to have it evaluated. Most likely it is just due to trauma and a reactive fibroma which can either be left alone or surgically removed by an oral surgeon. The most common locations for oral cancer to be found are on the floor of the mouth and the sides of the tongue.
Let the dentist look at it. If it is suspicious, you can have it biopsied, and they will find out what it is.
Hello, I recommend you have an evaluation by an Oral Surgeon or a general dentist to assess the lump and maybe recommend a biopsy if necessary to diagnose it properly.
Go to the Dental Clinic to do regular check up and might be they need to do FME (full Mouth Exam)
