MDD due to possible ivermectin overdose?

I am suffering from Major Depression Disorder due to an overdose of ivermectin (2 tablets) I took last January. I am also very anxious and have trouble sleeping and eating. I have lost almost 35 pounds since this started. I have daily headaches and trouble concentrating at work and do not enjoy life anymore. I have had 30+ TMS treatments with no relief. The antidepressants I take (Lexapro, Trazadone) do not help much at all. Can my brain be fixed or am I doomed to suffer forever? Any advice or answers you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. I also see an LCSW weekly but it does not help much except for my guilt.

Continue with your counseling, but you need an evaluation from your PCP, and possibly a sleep specialist.
I would talk to your psychiatrist about medication adjustments. I would also discuss the lack of progress made with TMS providers. I would continue with the social worker.

Your problem does not seem to be organic, although an MRI is always advised, but it seems that you need to see a competent psychiatrist.
My first though was that your dose of Lexapro my be too low. I would encourage you to try 20mg for about 10 days unless you develop side effects. If this helps, but not enough, you could try 30mg. A different antidepressant would also be an option.
If you have seen a medical expert and have normal labs and physical you likely need an SRNI or possibly need to add buproprion to the lexapro . Thirty treatments of TMS is usually effective with the antidepressant so you may need to switch antidepressants. I would not be pessimistic as there are many alternatives for treating depression than the one you have tried. Also what other medications are you on or are you using alcohol or cannabis as these can diminish the efficacy of you antidepressant treatment.
It seems you are doing the right thing for MDD. Not sure that depression is a side effect of ivermectin....see following link...
