I torn off my below nail part and the above nail part is still there , should I fully torn it off or should I keep as it is and wait for the below part to grow back

Do not peel your skin as it can create an entry way for bacteria to enter and cause skin infection. Use over the counter neosporin to help heel the skin. But is the problem persists then consult a dermatologist
