Nail Avulsion Healing

Hi, for context, I am 18 year old female with no pre-existing conditions and am currently not taking any medication. I went to the urgent care the other day because I have a fingernail avulsion on the thumb. I discussed various things with the doctor and nurses — then they proceeded to clean and wrap my finger up. However, I have one concern. I believe I heard the doctor say that it should take about 1 month for the nail to heal and grow back, but most sources online say 3-6 months. What is the correct amount of time for my fingernail to heal and grow back?
