“Nostril pain and itching?”

I am a 66 year old female. I had a procedure today and was given oxygen per nasal cannula. After the cannula was removed, I experienced stabbing pain in my left nostril and itching. My nose and eye are running and I am sneezing. I took 2 sudafed and benadryl.

Medications: levothyroxine, armour thyroid, lipitor, prilosec, cymbalta, Cardizem isosorbide
Conditions: hypothyroidism, GERD, CAD, hypercholesteremia

Sometimes the plastic end can irritate the lining, saline mist may help, and put some neosporin on the area with a q-tip
