General Practitioner Questions Cartilage Disorders

Osteochondroma question

I supposedly have an osteochondroma behind my right tibia and fibula. It has two cartilage caps, and supposedly they are only supposed to have one. I cannot find anywhere about a singular osteochondroma with two separate cartilage caps. Is it normal for them to have two, or would that symptom be consistent with chondrosarcoma, or no? One cap is touching my tibia and is double the size of the other one.

I recommend that you speak with your pediatrician and get a referral to a pediatric orthopedist.
