Question: Has there been any recent injury or sprain of the foot-ankle. Do you have any other medical issues such as diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, circulation problems, or lymphedema disease or smoker or former smoker? Without knowing more about your current health status I am unable to provide any information to you about the swelling. You should seek professional evaluation and treatment of your current problem.
You need to see a vascular doctor
Hi! I would also consider seeing a vascular doctor to make sure your circulation is ok and that there are no blood clots. Also I would ask if an MRI is necessary at this point.
No injury or fall one leg or both?
Clinda is an antibiotic and of no use here
Could use an x-ray
Rest and elevate your legs apply an Ace bandage for cimpression
Do you have HTN or CHF?’
Consider an urgent care as you are so young
This could be due to a vascular problem. I would recommend getting a
venous and arterial ultrasound.
The medication you have taken is a good start. Without a more thorough history, it's hard to tell what is going on. A vascular and orthopedic work up should be considered. A CT or MRI of your foot would be indicated.
Read my responses about venous insufficiency. That is likely what you are experiencing
I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle specialist (Podiatrist) for evaluation and treatment options.
