I am happy you have the MRI scheduled. After an accident it is important to evaluate for structural problems. It is not uncommon to develop headaches after a concussion or an accident. What you are describing sounds like motor tics. These can be mild or severe. These are treated with therapy such as CBIT or medications. It is always important to see your pediatrician and evaluate for the need to be referred to a neurologist.
