OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions

Persistent Infextion

I am a 22 year old female suffering with an abscess caused by infected ingrown hair(s) in the pubic region. After a couple weeks with this boil, I thought it was going away. Swelling went down, redness fading. However, yesterday i rolled over in bed and was awakened by a burning shooting pain at the site of the boil. I realized the abscess was now more painful and inflamed, and larger, than it had been too start with. I've been keeping the area clean and using warm compresses, but the boil isn't going away. What do i do now?

OB-GYN(Obstetrician-Gynecologist)
She should be seen by either an urgent care or a gynecologist in the area. Likely will need antibiotics and possibly drainage of the abscess
