“Pimple On scrotum”
I don't have any insurance, so I'm wondering if this is something I need to have looked at and just bite the bullet on the bill.
I've had a pimple on my scrotum for six months.
Honestly I'm not sure if it's just bad hygiene, me being overweight, or what, but it seems to have only gotten bigger.
It started out just being really itchy right there where it's grown, and slowly, it's become a large cystic growth. It pops if I squeeze it even a little bit, and alot of blood and pus comes out.
It's not on my actual testicles, it's just beneath the skin of my scrotum, on the left side where it rubs against my thigh.

Complaint duration: 6-8 months.
Medications: None, alcohol 2-4x a week.
Conditions: Sleep apnea, overweight

It sounds like a small abscess that needs to be drained. It could be a sebaceous cyst, check out pictures on the internet. Those shouldn't be popped. Now that there is puss it probably needs to be drained.
