Yes it definitely can

The muscle can get fatigued from constant pain
Definitely should be evaluated.
Yes that 's a possibility.
Short answer is Yes. Please get evaluated.
Absolutely. Foot drop is usually caused by pressure on the L5 nerve somewhere between the spine (where the nerve originates) and the foot. If you have foot drop, you should consult a good spinal specialist physician (like a Chiropractor) and have an exam to determine the cause. You may need an MRI to properly visualize the L5-S1 disc. Good luck! I hope this info is useful for you.

Take care and be well.

Nerve injury can cause foot drop. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for diagnosis, evaluation and treatment options
Not likely. It is more likely a lesion at the last two levels of the low back, commonly the L4/L5 spinal level.
It may be possible. You should consult with your local neurologist or podiatrist.
Not likely. The femoral nerve does not motor branches below the knee. A 'pinched' L5 or S1 nerve root can cause foto drop but it would have to be pretty severe.
This question should really be address with a neurologist. femoral nerve start way up in the hip and groin area, pinch nerve usually causes pain, never seen it cause foot drop.
