“Poloxamer 407?”
I am doing a project on brain transplantations and of my counterpoints is the hardship in reconnecting blood vessels in the CNS and between the CNS and PNS. I found that Poloxamer 407 has been used to join severed blood vessels that are even 0.02mm wide. I wanted to ask if Poloxamer 407 would it be as useful in reconnecting blood vessels in the CNS and PNS just as well? And if not what complications would there be?

Hello, Well my understanding of this question is that it is not the blood supply but getting the individual nerves to join up. Nerves heal very slowly if at all and usually end in a scarred lump that does not work to communicate information, as illustrated in spinal cord injuries. If an electronic workaround can be found then there could be a way but as I understand it the blood supply is not the problem.
