Procedure age limits

If all my pre testing is good I will receive low dose Flumazenil infusion, for 2yrs+ of prescribed lorazepam.4 days ago had perfect EKG and blood workup. All normal. I am in good health. I am 70 yrs young. Is there any reason why my age should keep me from the treatment I so desperately need?

The Flumazenil low rate infusion for benzodiazepine dependence is safe and
effective according to recent studies. Age should not be a restriction
factor for that therapy especially in otherwise healthy patient population.
Move forward with the treatment.
I am unfamiliar with this treatment you’re referring to, but sounds like this infusion might elicit withdrawal seizures and I’m not sure what the purpose of it is.
