Quit smoking cold turkey?

I want to quit smoking. I am allergic to all of the different types of cessation products and the two medications I know of that help with it. So the only way I'd be able to quit is cold turkey. I'm wondering if there is any actual danger in quitting that way. I have asthma. I take meds for that as well as bipolar and stomach ulcers.

Conditions: Bipolar, vitamin D deficiency, stomach ulcers

Probably the most effective way to quit. You will get withdrawal symptoms both physical and psychological. Media (movies, pictures) and exposure (environmental and situation) may trigger some psychological craving but if you can resist you should be a new nonsmoker the moment you quit.
Cold Turkey is usually a successful way to quit. If you have withdrawal symptoms, you could use nicotine gum.
If you are smoking, you are not allergic to nicotine and can try the patch. Or consider hypnosis therapy.
Stop smoking anyway, nicotine patches, gums, etc., prescribed or otc will help with the cold turkey way. You will be facing withdrawal alone.
