“Red, itchy spot? ”
Off and on, on my thighs, I get these spots that are itchy and they increase in size and gain a red ring around them. I’ve brought it up to a dr the first time and they said it was just a bug bite but with them reoccurring I’m wondering what could be causing it and what it actually is.

Hi, What you describe could be folliculitis, which is an inflammation of hair follicles. Best to see a local dermatologist if the condition persists.
